  • trying to cancel my flight and book a new flight

    I have made FIVE phone calls and spent over two hours on the phone, talked to four people and still have not gotten this agent to 1. cancel my flight 2. give me credit for the flight (minus their ridiculously high fees) and 3. help me apply the credit to a new flight I need to book The service people seem clueless in what they are doing for example they have transferred me to the wrong department three times and i waited on hold for 20 + minutes for a supervisor before trying again to get thought to someone who knew what they were doing More...
  • I am stranded in a foreign country

    I purchased the ticket through you. One of the airlines you used caused us to miss one leg of our flight, China Eastern airlines then booked us on a flight to get us to our final destination using Thai Airways. They then canceled our RETURN FLIGHT. No one is willing to take the responsibility to assist us.   • Deceptive prices - I trusted you!

    Im booking an international flight. ORBITZ displays prices and then says on over a dozen selections "flight not available at this time due to airlines.." Then I have to book for $250 more. Now I find out , I can book on other sites for the same prices ORBITZ displays. ORBITZ is trying to make it appear they can compete with other sites but lure you in to pay higher prices!   • The worst experience I ever had orbitz.com

    Firstly,I called up to make a hotel reservation.After being 15 minutes on hold for the booking,the customer service agent says that the room is no longer available and then he suggests a room for a higher price.I said no and asks him repeatedly whether my credit card has been charged or not and he says it has not been.Then after 2 days I found out from my bank account that I have been charged the amount.And when I called up at www.orbitz.com billing service I was put on hold for more than 15 minutes and then disconnected my call.And lo and behold when I tried to talk to an online customer...     In addition to my other comments about having to cancel my flite due to a 2 day migraine, but feeling better the same day, and not being able to get in touch with acess america, travel insurance, getting nowhere with ORBITZ, I hadn't heard from them until today..the 4th day! My vaca is over;;;;; ....I FINALLY just received an email..2 actually, one was from a "sara" that used capital letters which we ALL know,lol..you do not ever use capital letters when emailing a customer!     I had to xl my flight which was very important besides the sentiment behind it, due to a 2 day migraine on the same day I was suppose to take off. On the very same day, in the PM, I felt better and wanted to rebook for the next day. They said I could use the ticket if booked before May 2012. I have reached out to them for 4 days now with no response whatsoever! Now my vacation is almost over and I do not get another until next year!   • Loss of Hotel Paid Reservations

    Orbitz users should be aware that there are Hotels on this site that have agreements with Orbiz, to allow them to take 100% of your reservation costs if the reservation is canceled or modified for any reason at all. No matter if it is months before the reservation date. In my case my Mother is dying and in Hospice Care, no matter to either the hotel or Orbitz.   • false advertising and terrible service

    Booked Hotel Sonesta in New Orleans for 1/22-1/14/10 on orbitz. It was price guaranteed. Was offered an instant $50 rebate on bookit.com for the multiday stay. That was the entire price difference. Orbitz customer service supervisor "Christina" denied my price guarantee verbally insisting that the "rate" was the same (since she ignored the $50 instant rebate) when the terms and conditions of your price guarantee say "price" not rate.
